I had a blast running around the gorgeous campus of Shippensburg University with Jayme and Doug for their engagement session last night.  We even included a few with their sweet rescue pup, Tiki. Although she wasn't a big fan of my camera, she was such a sweetheart and was all kisses and tail wags as soon as the camera was gone. 

Jayme and Doug chose Old Main at Ship for their engagement photos since they both attended the school, met, had their first home together and adopted Tiki there! They originally worked together, but didn't actually speak to each other at work.  They finally connected when they were out with work friends and when Jayme got home, Doug had already found her on Facebook and asked her to call him. 

Doug popped the question about 3 years later and had it all planned out.  On a trip to NYC with friends in December, Doug said he wanted to visit the Rockefeller Christmas Tree.  Now Doug being the quiet and reserved guy that isn't a huge fan of crowds, Jayme was ecstatic that he wanted to go! While their friends were taking Jayme and Doug's photo in front of the tree, Doug said how much he loved Jayme then he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.  The best part - Jayme's response -  "shut up"  hahaha  Doug finally asked for a real answer so he could stand up :-D

When I asked them for some tips for other couple's engagement sessions, Jayme said Chapstick (because there's lot of kissing)!!
